Documenting her life's journey during the first year of the pandemic, performance artist/ filmmaker Marya self-isolated at home. Capturing happenings outside her back door, the art of translating reality into visual poetry preserved her sanity and kept depression at bay. Life During Shadow Time was filmed in western New Jersey between March 2020 and April 2021. Pre-pandemic footage was shot on location in Arizona.
