ARTIST'S STATEMENT
"As a Performance Artist my art is enacted upon my body each and every day."
In graduate school, after becoming intensely interested in theatre anthropology and the enactment of rituals, my approach to artwork radically changed. I realized that what was demanded of me as an artist was 'living' the art work. Currently my artwork serves as a means for information gathering, acquiring coping skills and as an act of artistic healing.
